DD hammocks has designed a sleeping bag especially for sleeping in hammocks. It keeps you warm to a temperature of minus 5 degrees and has the design of a mummy sleeping bag with hood. What is special with the DD Jura 2 hammock sleeping bag is the waterproof footbag. You can step into the sleeping bag without rocking simply before you lie into the hammock. You just sit into the hammock and put your feet in already being in the sleeping bag. The footbox is not only waterproof from outside you also can keep your muddy shoes on while sleeping if necessary. This can be true for military or also fotographers may have to jump up from their sleeping place for unique pictures.

The DD Jura 2 has a double zip closure in the middle. The central closure makes getting in and out easier. A clever feature is the possiblity to open it from two sides to let air in it. This flexibility is very comfortable if it gets too warm in the sleeping bag. There are two mesh pockets inside and one outside the Jura 2 for keeping small things such as money or mobile phone in it. If it is cold you can put your head into the hood and close it.
