The DD tarp 4 x 4 meters is the new and currently biggest rainfly by DD Hammocks.
Like all DD Tarps this tarpaulin is made of 190T polyester with 3 mm PU coating. All seals are taped.
This high quality product is waterproof and extremely sturdy. With 19 fixing points, 16 on the four sides and 3 in the center, the canvas can be used versatile. Guy lines and pegs are part of the scope of delivery. With this accessories you can install the tarp on trees as well as on the ground.
The 4 x 4 meter tarp has a weight of 1250 grams without guys and pegs and is packed like all DD tarps in a practical stuff bag.
Several people lying in hammocks find place under this large tarpaulin and can sleep dry and sheltered against wind and rain.
Also luggage, gear and the cooking place fit under this 4 x 4 tarp. You can use the tarp as tent roof if you fix it on the floor.
If there are no suitable trees for installing your hammock for instance and you have to sleep on the ground you can clamp the rainfly over you, your comrades and your backpacks and fixing it on the ground. Thus the tarp becomes a light and compact alternative to a tent. Perfect for camping and everybody who stays or sleeps outdoors.
